Job Description

This position is responsible for the management of assigned plants or facilities and equipment.
Job Summary
Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance of assigned buildings, equipment, and facilities
  • Install, move, repair, and remove equipment and utilities within facilities
  • Buy/lease production equipment as needed
  • Meet with vendors to review equipment and facility options; help select best options
  • Manage service/maintenance contracts for facilities
  • Dispose of equipment as necessary
  • Works closely with Maintenance Managers, VP of Fulfillment, and Operations Managers as needed

Field Of Study
Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience
Work Experience Required Or Desired
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive industry experience
Additional Requirements
Additional Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
  • Technical training in plant engineering, or factory/plant maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
  • Familiar with local building codes and OSHA regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
  • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the plant
  • Computer proficiency with strong CAD background
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel between all sites
