About The Opportunity
Provide and coordinate assistance to the Quality Manager with the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and improving quality and continuous improvement processes including being a training resource for all departments throughout the facility.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Execute consistent implementation, auditing, and evaluation of Menasha Packaging operating processes & procedures in support of the corporate goals and ensure alignment with legal standards
Develop and train the individual teams of the facility, take the lead and assist the overall facility
Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators relevant to the Quality, NCR Trending, SIP Program and Continuous Improvement (CI) arena
Analyze nonconformance report data and trends – share with facility management – develop and administer corrective action plans
Execute root cause analysis - assist with close-loop corrective actions and follow up throughout the departments of the facility
Identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies to management
Education / Certifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Skills & Experience
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
High School Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of two years’ experience in the area of quality in a manufacturing environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service
Work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision
Action and task oriented; collaborator and team player
Strong organization skills, ability to identify potential problems
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting
Frequent walking and standing required
Occasional travel required
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
