About The Opportunity
Position Summary
To maintain facility and equipment to accommodate production/warehousing in safe working atmosphere. Work with outside contractors, vendors for maintaining equipment and needed inventory. Communicate with Technical Supervisor, ORBIS personnel on any and all activities that affect Safety, Quality or Production. Train co-workers while developing harmony in the work place.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements of all equipment
  • Troubleshoot any issues of mechanical devices, correct issues as necessary to maintain productivity / quality standards
  • Respond to assigned facilities requests and completing work based on priority; communicate work statuses with plant leadership
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance program for applicable equipment and machinery
  • Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories, conserve resources when able
  • Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed)
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; is expected to promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities
  • Actively involved in autonomous route sheet training
  • Support TPM culture by helping setup AM route sheets on all presses
  • Create EAM work orders, and request parts for repair events
