About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users. May lead and direct the work of others.

 

Essential to this Position

Menasha Corporation is looking for a Technical Network Anlayst to join our Corporate IT team. This individual will be responsible to provide planning, installation, project management, security, performance tuning, and operational support for the enterprise data and\or voice communications networks. This role will also provide mid-level technical, operational, and administrative support and interact with Menasha business units, outside consultants and vendors. Duties include:

  • Provide end user support and process change requests
  • Assist with physical cabling
  • Perform equipment configuration and installations
  • Perform monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Escalate deep level troubles to senior team members
  • Perform systems maintenance and administrative tasks
  • Support Menasha IT processes and procedures
  • Support desktop and technical field team for network infrastructure requests

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational It policies, standards, and procedures
  • Knowledge of and the ability to design, implement and integrate It hardware for its use in business environments
  • Knowledge of telecommunications platforms and the ability to plan the global, regional and local telecommunications architecture for infrastructure components
  • Knowledge of and the ability to manage an organization's data networks for internal and external information transmission
  • Knowledge of voice network features, functions and capabilities; the ability to design and improve voice networks and services
  • Knowledge of and the ability to design, implement and maintain hardware, software and network components of a Local Area Network
Additional Requirements
  • Will consider candidates with 2-year degrees
  • CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate preferred
  • Understanding of network concepts for LAN, WAN, and wireless LAN technologies.
  • Helpdesk support and understanding of general IT concepts.
  • Some experience with structured cabling, administration of switches and routers, wireless networking, and\or unified communications including phone infrastructure.
  • Exposure with network operations, management, and Microsoft DHCP and DNS.
  • Experience supporting remote access VPNs.
  • General knowledge of conferencing tools and AV technologies.
  • Detail oriented and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, utilize resources for growth and meet commitments\deadlines.
