About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Oversees inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, and endurance. Also responsible for operating mechanical and electrical test equipment to check apparatus for conformance to standard requirements.

 

Essential to this Position

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prior experience supervising a quality department, including establishing goals, best practices, schedules, priorities, staffing and training
  • Knowledge in conducting root cause analysis investigations for quality department failures
  • Highly skilled at ensuring that quality operations including internal/regulatory audits, investigations, regulatory document reviews, SOP’s, change control documentation (including verification and validation) are properly implemented, conducted and documented
  • Self-starter at reviewing and approving deviations, and customer complaint responses
  • Partnering with the Quality Assurance Manager to monitor and ensure that all customer requirements and expectations are exceeded
  • Exceptional quality background in GMP regulatory and customer requirements in handling, packaging, and shipping of quality finished goods products

Essentials for Success:

  • HACCP certification and FDA Quality Standards experience desired
  • PCQI certification and USDA Quality Standards desired
  • Bi-Lingual a plus
  • Prior experience in packaging, re-packing, manufacturing, supply chain industries
  • Experience in supervising, leading, coaching and mentoring a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
