Position Summary

Provide plant support by troubleshooting and maintaining equipment electrical and mechanical systems to maintain a safe, clean, efficient work environment.

Job Summary
Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Troubleshoot and repair all electronic drives, PC’s on all electronic systems, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and make mechanical repairs to equipment as necessary
  • Keep abreast of electrical safety regulations
  • Maintain and improve technical knowledge
  • Design and enhance all electrical and mechanical systems as necessary
  • Provide electro-mechanical troubleshooting
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties as outlined and provide accurate documentation of such duties
  • Complete scheduled work orders on time and monitor results
  • Maintain all building mechanicals, utilities, HVAC systems
  • Communicate problems, repairs, and recommendations to Machine Operators, Supervisors and Scheduling
  • Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Education Desired
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Other Certifications Required Or Desired
Journeyman Electrician or equivalent training
Additional Requirements
Additional Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
  • Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Mechanical assist or team lift, as appropriate, should be used for any weight in excess of 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day, six days per week
  • Ability to see and distinguish colors
