About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Inventory Specialist will work directly with the Inventory Supervisor to oversee the flow of inventory into and out of a warehouse, from investigating discrepancies, product damage, rack storage, cycle counting, and inbound and outbound shipment.


Essential to this Position
  • Work in conjunction with the Quality Department for positive production results
  • Responsible for accuracy and validation of reclaim process in conjunction with production
  • Responsible for daily product damage reporting and traceability upon line completion
  • Responsible for product damage and reclaim return to 3PL process
  • Weekly transition zone cycle counts and research / communication with 3PL and MPC SAP Insider
  • Ensure accurate and timely return to stock upon line completion
  • Actively engage the production team on any inventory issues or variances
  • Track and replenish assembly materials to support planned demand (stretch film, tape, foam tape, etc.)
  • Actively monitor Peco pallet program
  • Support cycle counting as necessary
  • Create and publish monthly cycle count reporting
  • Participate and assist with any required physical Inventory
  • Monitor proper pallet rotation usage (FIFO)
  • Create inventory reports as needed or requested
  • Perform investigations, reporting, and system adjustments as necessary within defined credit limits

Skills & Experience
Work Experience Required
  • One or more years of related experience or training in the fields of shipping, receiving and inventory.
  • One year of experience operating a scissor lift, reach and/or stand up truck.
Additional Requirements
  • Must work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening and leader skills are needed
  • Ability to understand and use all applicable aspects of WMS
  • Demonstrate the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written
