About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Compiles and analyzes financial information for our organization. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Prepares, reviews, and analyzes reports and data, monitoring for accuracy and completeness and making
  • recommendations for improvement
  • Prepares annual budget and forecasts and conducts account reconciliations
  • Maintains and reviews records and data to ensure compliance with all corporate policies and all GAAP, local, state and
  • federal law
  • Performs month-end closing transactions including preparation of key reports
  • Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders
  • Develops product cost models to support management in decision making
  • Creates tools, models, and analyses that measure key performance indicators and report to key stakeholders
  • Completes supplier audits to ensure compliance with corporate requirements
  • Implements proper internal controls to contain costs and increase efficiencies
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives for finance process and information flow
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance management, working closely with direct reports, to develop and improve the
  • accounting function if applicable


Essential to this Position

 This position is responsible for business partnering with manufacturing plants’ operations and Leadership team for the East Corrugate plants, costing of assigned plants and plant financial analysis

Business Partnering

  • Key partner to manufacturing plant operations and Leadership team, providing support and analysis that assist in decision making and help shape the strategy and direction of the plant
  • Drive cost improvement initiatives working closely with manufacturing plant operations and Leadership team
  • Analyze manufacturing plant and cost savings initiatives
  • Create tools, financial models, and analysis that measure facility performance to assist management in understanding results
  • Identify favorable and unfavorable cost trends and present improvement ideas
  • Provide production metrics to Business Unit Leadership


  • Provide production analysis and keep management aware of all activities that are not in compliance with Menasha Standards
  • Develop and monitor overhead, labor, and raw material cost standards
  • Reconcile the actual to standard differences in Cost of Sales 
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation

Budgeting / Forecasting

  • Collaborate with plant operations and plant management in short term and long term budgeting and planning
  • Monitor actual results compared to budgeted and forecasted results, analyze variances, working with the plant management team to take advantage of opportunities and, if necessary, take corrective action
  • Assist in preparation & review of capital expenditure requests

At least 4 years relevant experience required.

  • Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools and strategies
  • Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
  • Knowledge of and ability to use processes, tools and techniques for exploring and evaluating alternative financial scenarios

  • Knowledge of the functions, tools and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the

  • Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial

  • Knowledge of financial and accounting applications specific to the organization
Additional Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of related work experience in manufacturing accounting or financial analysis
  • Experience with SAP S4/Hana highly desired
  • Experience with Hyperion a plus
  • Some travel required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and self-starter continuously looking for process improvements
  • Passion for understanding the business and how to improve it
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to lead and influence business partners
  • Adaptable and open to change in response to business changes and process and system enhancements
