Shift Requirements

About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Support business operations by preparing finished product shipments and receiving and staging incoming raw materials and supplies.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Load/unload trucks using PIT (Power Industrial Truck) equipment
  • Arrange dock times of incoming freight
  • Handle all rejected rolls
  • Handle all empty ink & solvent drums
  • Record paper/stock into SAP
  • Enter all finished goods into SAP
  • Run all labels for jobs in SAP
  • Run pick list in SAP
  • Enter stock usage in SAP
  • File freight claims
  • Pull stock for presses daily
  • Schedule outbound carriers
  • Track shipments when needed
  • Keep customers updated with hold and release items
  • Receive materials and transfer to storage locations; process receiving transactions in ERP system
  • Prepare finished product shipments; match product with paperwork to check for errors; process shipping transactions in ERP system
  • Call in carriers for shipments. Maintain and follow Menasha Freight Guidelines and select the right carrier for LTL and truckload shipments
  • Process air packages and operate UPS/Fed Ex machine as needed
  • Contribute to overtime needs to meet customer demands
  • Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned work area
  • Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
  • Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills & Experience
Work Experience Required
Ability to drive PIT (Power Industrial Truck) equipment
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
  • Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office and understanding of an ERP system
  • Possess the ability to take direction, work with supervision, and work well within a team
  • Good verbal and written communication

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Mechanical assist or team lift, as appropriate, should be used for any weight in excess of 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day, six days per week
  • Ability to see and distinguish colors
Additional Requirements
  • Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday (coverage on a Saturday approximately once per month)
