About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Compiles and analyzes financial information for our organization. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Prepares, reviews, and analyzes reports and data, monitoring for accuracy and completeness and making
  • recommendations for improvement
  • Prepares annual budget and forecasts and conducts account reconciliations
  • Maintains and reviews records and data to ensure compliance with all corporate policies and all GAAP, local, state and
  • federal law
  • Performs month-end closing transactions including preparation of key reports
  • Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders
  • Develops product cost models to support management in decision making
  • Creates tools, models, and analyses that measure key performance indicators and report to key stakeholders
  • Completes supplier audits to ensure compliance with corporate requirements
  • Implements proper internal controls to contain costs and increase efficiencies
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives for finance process and information flow
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance management, working closely with direct reports, to develop and improve the
  • accounting function if applicable

 

Essential to this Position
  • Support regular cost validations for active S4Hana locations and in preparation for new site go-lives as required; support incoming Information Systems costing questions from the business units
  • Running reports to validate cost changes and auditing of drivers behind cost changes to help resolve overall system or process changes to enable improved costing accuracy in efficient processes
  • Supporting re-costing of Inventory; participation in the process & helping define frequency of activity
  • Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders (finance team and organization leadership); including creating tools, models, and analysis that measure and track key financial metrics (e.g. variance analysis, costing changes, cost savings, etc.)
  • Assist in the training of the Finance Team on the costing processes and work with other work steams in the organization to find process improvements

  • Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools and strategies
  • Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
  • Knowledge of and ability to use processes, tools and techniques for exploring and evaluating alternative financial scenarios and results
  • Knowledge of the functions, tools and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the organization
  • Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reports
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting applications specific to the organization
