About The Opportunity
Position Summary
  • Process Technicians are responsible for maintaining and improving all the plastic processes. This includes
  • troubleshooting extrusion and converting processes, resin variables, and maximizing efficiency of all operations.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Identify and correct extrusion issues.
  • Perform/assist with extrusion setups.
  • Train how to identify and correct extrusion issues.
  • Train how to perform extrusion setups.
  • Improve machine efficiency via up-time and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot processing defects.
  • Identify and correct converting issues.
  • Perform and assist with converting setups.
  • Train how to identify and correct converting issues.
  • Use basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical fundamentals.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are
  • required.
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; is expected to promote and sustain any and all CI and 5S
  • activities.

Work Experience Required
The classification level will be determined by the training completed per the training matrix.
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
  • Must be qualified to operate a forklift.
  • Must be trained in LOTO.
  • Must complete man lift training.
  • Demonstrate basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
