About The Opportunity
Provide and coordinate assistance to the facility Quality Manager with the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and improving overall quality, training, and continuous improvement processes and being a training resource for all functional groups throughout the building.
Essential to this Position
Execute consistent implementation, auditing, and evaluation of Menasha operating processes, procedures, forms, manuals, and tools within the facility in support of the overall corporate goals and ensure alignment with legal standards
Develop and train the QA groups of the facility, take the lead and assist the overall Quality organization.
Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators relevant to the Quality, NCR Trending, SIP Program and Continuous Improvement (CI) arena
Analyze QT9 NCP Data and Trends – share with facility management – develop and administer corrective action plans
Execute root cause analysis - assist with close-loop corrective actions and follow up throughout the departments of the facility
Participate in the Quarterly SIP Audits, Corporate Audits, 3rd Party Audits and Customer Audits
Actively participate with the other facility Quality Managers and Corporate Quality Team in auditing facilities for compliance to Corporate Quality SIP standards
Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service.
Identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies to management. Assist QA manager in preparing for audits and in remaining compliant with Customer’s requirements.
Observe internal control procedures and evaluate their effectiveness as they apply to the business.
Provide process improvement know how, methods and conceptual expertise to the facility Quality Team
Act as a resource to the facility for capturing training in QT9 and ensuring training is current and on-time
Responsible to “Train the Trainer” for the facility’s Training matrix database and updating and maintaining the training matrix for the facility
Perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job.
Education / Certifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Skills & Experience
Work Experience Required
At least 2 years relevant experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes
Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site
Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components
Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility
Knowledge of and experience with effectively managing changes to the production environment and process
Knowledge of and ability to identify a problem and use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution
Two years of college with two or more years related experience in the area of quality or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Auditing experience preferred.
Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.
Must be detail orientated and pay close attention to accuracy.
Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written.
Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
Ability to process information through computer system.
